Hofstra University
2007 - Present
I’ve been part of Hofstra University’s digital evolution for years, helping design and refine the website to enhance user experience, accessibility, and engagement. Working across marketing, admissions, alumni relations, and development teams, I collaborate on digital solutions that serve students, faculty, and the broader university community.
My role involves UX/UI design, information architecture, and usability enhancements, ensuring the website remains intuitive, modern, and aligned with Hofstra’s goals. I also focus on accessibility-first design, making sure the site meets WCAG standards and provides an inclusive experience for all users.
I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to major projects, including the 2008 and 2012 presidential debates held on campus, designing digital assets that elevated Hofstra’s national presence.
Additionally, I help manage student aids who assist with the daily procedures needed to keep the website updated, providing them with guidance and hands-on experience in digital design and content management.
In addition to my design work, I teach graphic design as a Continuing Education Instructor, mentoring students and sharing real-world insights into UX/UI and digital design.
The current Hofstra website reflects my dedication to crafting clean, functional, and engaging digital experiences that continue to evolve with the university’s needs.
